Senior Electrical Engineer, Medium-Voltage Distribution

Base Salary

$165K - $215K

Apply to this role

Firm Topology

A large data center developer building 500+ MW campuses across North America. Currently delivering three simultaneous campus programs totaling a multi-billion-dollar construction pipeline.

The Team

Nine electrical engineers, split between design and construction support. You report to the Director of Electrical Engineering.

The challenge

Three campus programs are in concurrent design-build. The MV distribution designs for Phase 1 buildings need to be locked by Q3 while Phases 2-3 are still in schematic design. Nothing ships late.

Role overview

Medium-voltage electrical design from utility demarcation through rack-level PDU coordination is yours. Day-to-day: load flow modeling in ETAP, protection coordination studies, and real-time field conflict resolution with the construction team. When a contractor calls at 6 AM because a bus duct route conflicts with a chilled water main, that's your phone ringing.
